Owls by Day - Mike and MerryLynn Denny
Birds seen: Great Horned Owl - 2 at Fishook and 1 and Bennington Lake Long-eared Owl - 2 at Hollebecke HMU - only seen flying. N. Saw-whet Owl - 1 at Fishook - everyone got good looks.
It was a beautiful day but hardly any birds - we rushed to Bennington Lake and spent the afternoon and evening hoping for the Great Gray Owl - but no luck. |
