Kevin Li, 1956-2006
Kevin will be long-remembered. He was instrumental in bringing back Purple Martins to the Puget Sound area. Kevin was a biologist and water-quality specialist for the King County DNR. He died of a suspected heart attack while scuba diving near the Keystone ferry dock on January 30th. Hundreds attended a memorial service at the UW’s Center for Urban Horticulture on February 3rd

Kevin took this self portrait in Hawaii while celebrating his 50th birthday.
