Pink-footed Geese, Anser brachyrhynchus,
found by Ruth and Patrick Sullivan on November 2, 2003, at Bowerman Basin,
Grays Harbor. Compare with photos of the
Bean Geese found at the same location
in 2002. Pink-footeds are smaller, shorter-necked, have pink (not
orange) legs, and have flanks that are darker than the backs. |
