Northwest Email ListsTweeters is the northwest birders' email ListProcessor mainly serving Washington State, but with a few postings about British Columbia and parts of Oregon and Idaho. Tweeters serves the University of Washington and Washington State as a scientific research tool, a place to gather information and pose questions to the wide variety of regional subscribers. Anyone may subscribe to this free service - it serves both professional and amateur ornithologists, and both advanced and beginning birders. Besides subscribing to Tweeters, you can view Daily Digests on the web, or you can see the most recent messages on Birding on the Net, or at Surfbirds. If you have questions about northwest birds or birding, someone on Tweeters can answer them! Inland-NW-Birders is for the discussion of birds and birding in the inland northwest. The area of interest is roughly Idaho north of the Salmon R. and Washington east of the Cascades - especially the far eastern counties of the state. Birders outside the area are welcome and encouraged to share information that may be of regional interest. Recent postings can be viewed online on Birding on the Net. Complete archives are available to subcribers.BirdYak is a Yahoo Groups mailing list for topics relating to birding in Yakima County, Washington. Anyone may subscribe to this free service, both beginning and advanced birders. LCBirds is a Yahoo Groups mailing list for topics related to birding in the Lower Columbia Basin in Washington and northern Oregon. This includes the area around the TriCities (Pasco, Richland, Kennewick), in Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Adams, Grant, and Umatilla (OR) counties.
